Giclee / Painting Reproductions

A number of Richard’s paintings have been reproduced in high quality Giclee format. Giclee (pronounced Zhee-clay) is the French word for spurt or squirt, to describe the IRIS printing process. They are reproduced in limited edition,  signed by the artist, and they are often enhanced with a unique alteration to each reproduction. Giclee prints are now widely shown and distributed throughout the world. Giclee paintings that are available may be purchased directly from the artist on line (see gallery)

Here are examples of these fine reproductions. They are available printed on canvas (box canvas format)  or on archival heavy paper (with warm white double matting)- framing by customer.

Typical image sizes include : 30×40 stretched canvas or 11×14 paper  as shown below: (sizes may vary depending on original image proportions) – Custom size images available on request :  rsmcdhu@shaw.ca  Note:  If the giclee is not purchased directly from the artist or comes with the artists special stamp, the giclee is not a limited edition, but may have been copied by others.
